pre-employment transition services (pre-ets)

Do you have a high school or young adult student with an IEP or 504 plan? Planning for the future can seem daunting.

We are here to help make the transition easier!

Corvilla’s Transition Specialists help students become career and college ready by building on their strengths and overcoming any obstacles along the way. We empower students through workplace readiness training, job exploration counseling, work-based learning opportunities, instruction in self-advocacy, and counseling on post-secondary opportunities. Every student’s path looks different. Let’s make a custom way forward for your student together.

young adult afternoon service

This program is for those who are in the process or will be in the process of transitioning from high school or young adult programs to work or independent living. With the experience gained through this program, participants will have the opportunity to exercise skills needed for adulthood. By age 26, individuals will have a plan of what they want to do with their life if previously undecided. This could include what job they might want, making their transition to an adult afternoon program, workforce, and/or supported living/residential service. Many individuals exit community school programs by age 22, but that does not mean they should end their engagement in the community. Let us help with this transition and prepare your young adult for a bright future!
