Young ADult Afternoon
Service Team Lead
This position provides leadership by example, coaching, and support to the afternoon service staff as well as assisting with management responsibilities. This position plans and implements services for young adults in the community and at Corvilla.
Specific Areas of Responsibility
Provide leadership by example to DSPs.
Assist Manager with various duties including scheduling, finances, staff/volunteer training, monthly reviews, client specific meetings, etc.
Participate in monthly planning of activities in the community. This includes “back up” planning. (Plan A, Plan B, Plan C)
Ability to plan and follow scheduled activities in Afternoon Services.
Be part of the team that ensures the program is in compliance with the State Dept. of Health regulations, CARF standards, and agency policies.
Support and demonstrate client safety, active treatment, cleanliness, safe food preparation, proper medication administration.
Work collaboratively with others to benefit Client needs.
Promote a positive and caring environment.
Provide community-based instruction outings with assigned clients, which may be small group, one-to-one ratio, or medium group.
Transportation of young adults to community resources, including volunteering, tours, and other community events.
Ensure that all staff are engaged with clients and follow the daily/ weekly/monthly schedule and/or back-up plans.
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to represent Corvilla in a variety of public settings
All other responsibilities as assigned.

Position Requirements
All positions at Corvilla, Inc. require that employees are free from all felonies. Must be a high school graduate and have at least one-year experience working with people who are developmentally disabled, a valid driver’s license and employee must be insurable by our insurance carrier. Experience in individual program development is helpful. Job experience must include personnel management, quality assurance, financial documentation, medication dispensation, systems management, communications skills, and positive relationship building skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, become certified in CPR/AED/First Aid, Mandt and Medication Administration.
