Quality Assurance

PURPOSE

This position serves as the primary compliance and quality assurance officer, with overall responsibility for managing internal incident reporting, policies and procedures, and training.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Investigate all allegations of Abuse, Neglect, and/or Exploitation and submit all reports in a timely manner, meeting state deadlines

  • Maintain internal record of all reports

  • Be available 24/7 to receive reports and conduct investigations

  • Track and analyze incidents looking for trends and make recommendations on how to avoid future incidents

  • Be an active member of the Human Rights Committee

  • Assist Chief Human Resources Officer in addressing the training needs of agency staff                     

  • Serve as agency designee to accrediting bodies

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

At least a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.  5 years experience working in the ID/DD field is acceptable in lieu of degree.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.  Must have the ability to work independently and have high organizational skills. CPR/AED & First Aid certification required.
