To implement active treatment programs with Clients. To coordinate Client’s needs on a day-to-day basis. To keep careful documentation. To provide Clients a relationship model, with which they can create a family unit.

Specific Areas of Responsibility

  • Client Safety

  • Involve and train people we serve in daily activities

  • Transportation of Clients to community resources, or in emergency situations

  • Assistance with completion; of all aspects of activities of daily living (ADL’s)

  • Cooking

  • Cleaning

  • Medication Administration

  • Data collection of program goals & behavior tracking

  • Ability to work with others to benefit Client needs

  • Ability to participate in individual and group activities to promote a positive and caring Day environment

  • Ability to follow scheduled activities in Day Services

  • All other responsibilities as assigned

Position Requirements

All positions at Corvilla, Inc. require that employees are free from all felonies. Direct Support Professional positions require a valid driver’s license, and employee must be insurable by our insurance carrier. DSP’s must possess quality domestic skills, good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This position requires employees to be even tempered and patient. Employees will become certified in First Aid, CPR and Medication Administration.
